Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions are to clear the dealing between us and clarify our duties towards each other during your usage of our services.Those Terms and Conditions are obligatory for the usage of our services, so by accepting them you are acknowledge that you will have not to do anything that violates any of the following points while using our services.Those Terms and Conditions are like a signed contract where if any of the 2 parties violate any of them, the Egyptian Courts according to the Egyptian Law will be the judge of any problem occurred during this violation.

1. WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA?

Any Data that identifies a natural person directly or indirectly such as (Name, Identification Number, Email, Password to Protect Your Account)
Note: If You Register Via Facebook or Other Social Media Platform You Must Read Their Privacy Policy

2. WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT?

We collect data such as: Real Name, Email Address, Password, Location Information, ' 'Device Information, Address and Credit Card Information.

3. WHY WE PROCESS YOUR DATA?

We process your data to ensure that you get the best fit ' 'for you of our services and to always improve them.

4. PERSONAL DATA USAGE AND SECURITY

Each party is obliged to keep strictly confidential of any company business secrets or technical information or any knowledge related to the other partyCamion is responsible for securing your all your data inside the system, including your business info, reports and ….etc. You have to keep your password strict and not to give it to any other unauthorized person.You are responsible to keep all the info about Camion’s process and system safe as well, including the reports, data analysis, prices and ….etc.
And hereby, Camion is authorized to record all the calls between you and our Customer Service Team.

5. DEVICE LOCATION

Once you use our application or website we are authorized to access your device location in order to improve our booking system and to improve locating our trucks and mini-trucks.Overall, in order to improve our services to best fit you.

6. DURING THE TRIP

The Minimum time to request a trip in advance is that the trip to be occurred after at least 12 hours of the requesting time.
You shall pay the fees (as agreed), also parking charges (if there is any), tolls and weight (if there is any) and any extra fees occur during the trip.
You agree that the use of our services will solely be the risk of you
You shall agree and accept of not involving in the following activities
- Damaging the interior or exterior of the truck or mini-truck
- Misusing any device (technical or non-technical)
- Asking the driver to break any traffic rules or regulations
- Asking the driver to carry over load than requested and confirmed on at booking
- Asking the driver to carry more packages/items than those who were confirmed on during the request
- Asking the driver to change the delivery place without pre-agreement
- The driver has the right to refuse any of the above activities
- We provide you with the option of having manpower to do the loading and discharge tasks, so if you choose not to have them from our side, you will have to provide the proper number of manpower to do this task within a max of 1 FREE hour at discharge, or else for every extra waiting hour you will be charged for
- The second hour will be add 2% of the trip’s price to your invoice.
- Any extra hour will add 5% of the trip’s price to your invoice.
- In case of No Show Up for the receiver, the driver will only wait for him/her to reach the driver for arrangement during 1 hour and waiting fees will be applied though, if no contact happened during that hour, the driver has the right to return back to the starting point and double the price will be applied on your side.

7. DURING THE TRIP

Your account will be suspended or blocked if you violate any of the points in these Terms and Conditions.
Also, your account will be permanently blocked if you did anything illegal related to the usage of our services.

8. TIME FRAME TO GET THE BIDS AND TO ACCEPT AN OFFER *ACCOUNT BLOCK AND SUSPENSION*

Camion is promising you to have a minimum of 3 bids within 2 hours after placing a request as a max.However, you will receive a pop-up message every time you request a trip that shows you a reversed timer where you have to accept or reject the offers made to you before it went out.The time for request confirmation after getting the bids is up to 5 hours, ignoring the offers by either not accepting or rejecting them till the time is up for 3 times you will have your account blocked for a week, if you repeat it for extra 2 times you will have your account suspended for a month, and then those procedures will be repeated.

9. TYPES OF ALLOWABLE AND FORBIDDEN GOODS

All types of goods are allowable, except for:
- Weapons
- Drugs “Legal or Illegal” - Alcohols
- Explosive Materials
- Chemical Components “Except for oils, they are allowable”
- Personal Devices/Electronics
- Money Saved

10. TOLLS AND EXTRA CHARGES

- You shall pay the fees (as agreed), also parking charges (if there is any), tolls and weights (if there is any) and any extra fees occur during the trip.
- Invoices will be introduced to you at delivery and you will have to pay it before the discharge of the goods at the end point, or as the agreed on process if you are having a special contract with us.
- In case you have a representative from your side with our driver, the driver is the only one who is allowed to deal with the tolls and weights all the time.

11. CANCELLATION FEES *ACCOUNT BLOCK AND SUSPENSION

Trip Cancellation fees go as follows:
- If the trip starts and ends inside Cairo, you can Cancel FREELY before the starting time by an hour.
- If the cancellation happens in less than one hour, for the first time, 20% of the trip’s price will be applied on you.
- For the second time, 30% of the trip’s price will be applied on you.
- For the third time, 50% of the trip’s price will be applied on you and your account will be suspended for 2 weeks and after suspension release, the previous points will be repeated.
- If the trip starts from Cairo and to any other city, you can Cancel FREELY before the starting time by 4 hours.
- If the cancellation happens in less than 4 hours, for the first time, 20% of the trip’s price will be applied on you.
- For the second time, 30% of the trip’s price will be applied on you.
- For the third time, 50% of the trip’s price will be applied on you and your account will be suspended for 2 weeks and after suspension release, the previous points will be repeated.

12. PAYMENT *ONLINE AND CASH*

- In case of Cash Payment: Payment will be upon delivery and before discharge of goods.
- In case of Online Payment: 20% of the trip’s cost will be put on hold on your card and the remaining 80% will be transferred from your card upon delivery and before discharge of goods.

13. INSURANCE

Camion is promising you a high quality service with a very organized and detailed-oriented system to cover all the transportation process.We provide you with the Insurance Service with very professional entities and with relatively low prices; the trip insurance will cover the compensation of damaged or lost items during the trip *check appendix 1 for more details of the insurance process*, however, it is an optional service that you might not choose, but, in case of not choosing it, you are totally responsible for the goods safety.
